The BUP PhD Award 2022

The nomination for the Baltic University Programme (BUP) PhD Award 2022 is now open. The BUP supports high-quality research promoting sustainable development in a Baltic Sea region context. The award is established in two research areas: (1) Natural Sciences, Technology and Engineering and (2) Social Sciences and Humanities.

(Image removed) The BUP award is a distinction given to the author of what is judged to be the most qualified PhD work defended at any of the BUP participating universities according to the following criteria: originality, inter-/multi disciplinary approachnoveltyinnovation, and value for promoting sustainable development in a Baltic Sea Region context. Any author affiliated with a BUP’s Participating University that has defended his/her PhD thesis during 2021 can be nominated.

The winners will receive a prize in the form of a diploma and support up to a maximum of 1000€ for either attending a scientific conference or publishing in a peer-review scientific journal.

The nomination was open until 15 May 2022.
