Internship announcement for Ukrainian students
Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, The Baltic University Programme (BUP) wishes to aid one Ukrainian student by offering an internship during the spring and summer of 2022 at the Coordinating secretariat of the programme located at Uppsala University, Sweden.
We welcome applicants from any of the following Ukrainian universities (located in the most affected areas):
Alfred Nobel University, Dnipro
Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Chernihiv
Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University, Odessa
Sumy State University, Sumy
V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Kharkiv
Zaporizhzhia National University, Zaporizhzhia
The intern will get the opportunity to work at the office of the Secretariat, work tasks will vary and be will be customised for the intern personally.
Conditions of the internship
The Baltic University Programme provides a workplace at the Secretariat office as well as work management and support during the internship time.
The intern will receive funds to cover necessary living expenses as well as travel costs to and from Uppsala.
The period, duration and workload of the internship will be defined individually. The application call is open until 18 April and the intern is welcome to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
The applicant should be enrolled at a bachelor or master programme at one of the above mentioned Ukrainian universities in the areas most affected by the war.
Since the work of the Baltic University Programme is structured around 10 themes (Link removed) related to sustainable development it would be beneficial if the applicant has an interest in the field of sustainable development, however, it is not a requirement.
As the BUP is an international programme, the working language is English, therefore a good command of spoken and written English is a requirement.
