Can sustainability and Internationalisation work together? Would you like to share your experiences with BUP colleagues? The BIP ‘Sustainability as an Integral Part of the International Experience’ is designed for International Office staff and colleagues working in internationalisation and student services interested in topics such as sustainability activities and green campus. This event will also feature the BUP IROs Network Annual meeting.
VSB-Technical University of Ostrava invites colleagues from BUP participating universities to register for this Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), taking place in Ostrava, Czechia, on 5-9 October 2026.
The event targets International Office staff and colleagues working in internationalisation and student services. The week will feature the BUP IROs Network Annual meeting, which aims to provide participants with the opportunity to raise relevant topics, discuss areas of concern, and explore ways to further collaborate with each other and within the BUP.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs should be covered by participants. Participants are encouraged to contact Erasmus coordinators at their home institutions for Erasmus+ mobility support.
During the BIP, participants will engage in expert sessions, interactive workshops, institutional case studies, peer exchange and an excursion, contributing to a shared effort to make internationalisation more sustainable at both institutional and international levels.
The program includes:
- two online sessions (September 2026, 2 × 2 hours),
- one on-site mobility week in Ostrava (5-9 October 2026).
Active participation in both components is expected.
The application deadline is 30 June 2026.
