3.22.3 Researcher Services Unit

Part of University Administration; Division for Research and Partnership Support

The Researcher Services Unit offers extensive support to researchers in areas such as research funding, research data, collaboration agreements, collaboration support, impact support, research ethics, and the Nagoya Protocol. Our support extends from the application process through the entire funding period until the project is completed. We also help guide researchers to other support functions within the University.

The unit provides support to researchers and financial management functions at departments in preparing budgets and financial reporting for grant projects within the EU Framework Programmes, US federal funders and the Wallenberg Foundations. We also manage the University's own seed funding for researchers who want to test collaboration with external stakeholders through the University’s own financing Verification for Collaboration (VFS).

The Researcher Services Unit also has research advisors with special responsibility for assisting researchers in the humanities and social sciences. The research advisors offer information about calls for proposals and support for research applications and projects, primarily within Horizon Europe and Swedish funders.

The Head of Unit is Cecilia Nilsson.
