Short presentation
Erik Melander holds the position of professor at Uppsala University's Department of Peace and Conflict Research and serves as the Director of the Alva Myrdal Centre for Nuclear Disarmament. Previously, he directed the Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) and held visiting positions at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at Notre Dame University in the USA, and the University of Natal in South Africa.
