Research
In 2024, I will start two new research projects:
1. The VR project What will we eat? Food as a security policy issue in Sweden 1900-2025, for which I am the PI. More information about the project can be found here and here.
2. The RJ project Governing through Consultants: How does Central Government Agency Use of Private Consultants Impact Public Values? which is led by Shirin Ahlbäck Öberg. More information about the project can be found here and here.
During 2023-2024 I am also working in the project Konkurrerande etos inom den högre utbildningen och forskningen i Sverige together with Helena Wockelberg and Shirin Ahlbäck Öberg. More info about that project can be found here.
During 2020-2023 I worked in my VR-funded postdoc project Between free movement and hard borders: The implementation of internal border controls as a challenge to or extension of European integration. More info can be found here and here.
During the academic year 2020-2021, I was a visiting researcher at the Nijmegen Center for Border Research, Radboud University, the Netherlands. I am also an associate researcher at the program for Global Politics and Security at the Foreign Policy Institute in Stockholm.
