Biography

I am a researcher in the Mistra Environmental Communication Research program, where I also completed my doctoral studies in July 2025.

Research

My research focuses on transformations in agriculture using relational approaches with a particular focus on soils, carbon farming, and building local food resilience. My empirical research examines if, when, and how carbon farming enables and hinders deep transformations and how local actors coordinate themselves to create resilient food systems. My theoretical contributions to environmental communication draw on feminist, futures, and environmental humanities scholarship. At the heart of my work is the exploration of new and alternative perspectives that foreground diverse ways of knowing which can support transformation.
