Short presentation
Interested in social-ecological systems research and holistic coastal management for increased sustainability. Sieglind uses practice-oriented, practical and interdisciplinary approaches using both qualitative and quantitative methods. In her earlier research, she investigated social-ecological elements of small-scale fisheries, which can contribute to a transformation of unsustainable and degraded small-scale fisheries to more sustainable ones which can secure local people’s future livelihoods.
