Biography
I obtained my PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Collège de France (co-supervision) in 2018. My doctoral dissertation was on the synthesis and mechanistic understanding of oxyfluorides as high-energy cathodes for Li-/Na-ion batteries. After graduation, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute for three years, specializing in operando gas analysis for various battery chemistries. I joined the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University as of 2021 for a second postdoc training to develop new battery testing methodologies. I am now a tenure-track assistant professor at UU. I have received the Swedish Research Council (VR) starting grant 2023-2026, ÅForsk young scientist grant 2023-2024, and Swedish Energy Agency FFI project grant 2024-2027.
