Research

My research has focused on the design and application of micro- and nanoscale magnetic and functional materials, tackling challenges in health, energy, environment, and electromagnetic technologies. Working at the interface of physics, chemistry, and engineering, I have collaborated with biologists, chemists, and engineers on projects ranging from magnetic hyperthermia for cancer therapy to energy storage systems, water purification, and microwave-absorbing materials. This interdisciplinary approach drives my aim to develop materials science with real-world impact.

My expertise includes spinel ferrites, perovskite manganites, and other nanostructured materials, synthesized in thin film, nanoparticle, and nanocomposite forms. I tailor their structural, electrical, and magnetic properties using diverse chemical and physical methods, characterized through XRD, XPS, ICP, FESEM, TEM, AFM, I-V, and VSM/SQUID magnetometry.
