Short presentation

The Marcia group uses integrated biochemical, biophysical, and cellular biology approaches to study the molecular mechanism of large non-coding RNAs and how these regulate gene expression processes.

Keywords

Media

Our lab is funded by prestigious Swedish and international funding bodies and we are also active in divulgation and outreach.

MSCA doctoral training network - TargetRNA

TargetRNA comprises 16 doctoral candidates, who will work together across different disciplines to jointly advance the field of RNA-ligand design. We direct DC16.

Research project DansaRNA

DansaRNA is a project funded by the Swedish National Research Council (VR), through which we will visualize novel RNA structures and their conformational dynamics to understand their function

Research project SplicINH

SplicINH is a project funded by AIRC, through which we will study small RNA-targeting splicing modulators. This project is run at IIT Genova, Italy
