Research
My research focuses on the development of multidimensional numerical forward modelling and inversion schemes for data from various geophysical electromagnetic (EM) and potential field methods, the joint interpretation of EM, seismic, potential field and borehole data, and the application to geotechnical, hardrock, tectonic, hydrological, geothermal and volcanological targets.
In numerical development, I have contributed to individual and joint inversion schemes of data from natural and controlled-source EM and geoelectric methods in 1D and 2D, novel approaches to model error and resolution analyses, and 3D forward modelling algorithms for EM and potential field methods. At present, I work on the development of 3D inversion algorithms for natural and controlled-source EM methods.
