Short presentation

My work lies at the crossroads of political science, psychology and experimental economics. I use a mix of methods - mainly field experiments, natural experiments and surveys - to study impacts of major shocks such as civil wars, forced displacement, and climate related natural hazards, and randomized interventions to mitigate negative outcomes. I am also a member of the Editorial Board of the APA journal Psychology of Violence.
