Isto Huvila

Prof. Isto Huvila holds the chair in information studies at the Department of ALM (Archival Studies, Library and Information Science and Museums and Cultural Heritage Studies) at Uppsala University in Sweden and is adjunct professor (docent) in information management at Information Studies, Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. His primary areas of research include information and knowledge management, information work, knowledge organisation, documentation, and social and participatory information practices. He received a MA degree in cultural history at the University of Turku in 2002 and a PhD degree in information studies at Åbo Akademi University (Turku, Finland) in 2006.

Olle Sköld

Dr. Olle Sköld is a senior lecturer at the Department of ALM. He is the author of Documenting Videogame Communities, for which he received ASIS&T:s 2018 ProQuest Doctoral Dissertation Award. Sköld's research is characterized by a broad interest in the ALM field, digital cultures, and digital humanities. Previous work includes studies of information practices, documentation, knowledge production, memory-making, videogame preservation, and the practices and information systems of archivists.

Michael Olsson

Jessica Kaiser

Dr. Jessica Kaiser is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of ALM/CAPTURE. She holds an MA in osteoarchaeology from the University of Stockholm, Sweden, with minors in Classics and Egyptology from Uppsala University (2006) and a PhD in Egyptian Archaeology and Bioarchaeology from University of California Berkeley (2018). Dr. Kaiser has worked as an archaeologist and osteologist in Egypt, California and Scandinavia. Since 2017, she is co-directing the Abydos Temple Paper Archive Project with colleagues from Egypt, the US and Germany. Her research interests include skeletal evidence of stress and disease, the digital turn in archaeology, database development for archaeology and osteology, and Egyptology and the colonial encounter.

Ying-Hsang Liu

Dr. Ying-Hsang Liu is a researcher at the Department of ALM at Uppsala University, Sweden, in the ERC funded research project CAPTURE. He holds a PhD in Information Science from Rutgers University and his research lies at the intersections of knowledge organization, interactive information retrieval and human information behavior in various domains, including digital humanities

Stefan Ekman

Dr. Stefan Ekman is a researcher at the Department of ALM, Uppsala University, and is docent in English Literature. He received an MA in English and an MSc (econ) in environmental and development economics from Gothenburg University and holds a PhD in English Literature from Lund University. Between 2013 and 2021, he worked as domain specialist for humanities data at the Swedish National Data Service (SND). He joined the CAPTURE project in 2023.

Zanna Friberg

Zanna Friberg is a PhD student at the Department of ALM and participates in the CAPTURE project starting in 2020. She received a BA in Archaeology in 2014 and a MA in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies in 2016, both at Uppsala University. Her research interests include information and cultural heritage management, heritage learning and public curatorship of collections.

Lisa Andersson

Dr. Lisa Andersson is a researcher at the Department of ALM. She received a MA degree in library and information studies 2011 and a PhD degree in information studies at Uppsala University in 2017. Her research concerns research documentation and research information systems.

Amalia Juneström

Dr. Amalia Juneström is a senior lecturer at the Department of ALM. In May 2022, she received a PhD degree in library and information studies on her thesis Content Moderation and Fact-Checking. In August 2022, Juneström joined CAPTURE project.
