Museum in Wartime: Lessons from Ukraine

In my talk, I want to discuss the challenges that a museum may face during wartime. The presentation will address a range of issues related to the significance of cultural heritage and traditional forms of museum activity, such as collection enhancement, exhibition activities, educational work, research, and international cooperation. What should a museum prioritise when war breaks out? Which items should be selected for evacuation? What should be done if the state cannot help? Are exhibitions possible during wartime, and what is their message and role?
