Welcome to a chemistry-themed science talks in a local pub in Uppsala! This event is part of the Pint of Science festival, taking place around the world on May 18-20, 2026.

This event shows how small materials can have a big impact on our lives. We start with mineral nanoparticles interacting with biomolecules with Prof. Vadim Kessler. Then we will look at a Nobel-winning (2025) material called metalorganic frameworks (MOF) and their applications for clean fuels with Prof. Sascha Ott.
Pub quiz on chemistry will be organized in between these two talks.
Join us for an exciting night! But please note that you need to register for the event, to make sure to get a seat.
