Erik Lewin praised as a teacher by chemistry students
Senior lecturer Erik Lewin, within the research programme for Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry - Ångström, has received an award for his "considerable pedagogical skill and clarity" from the student association K-section.
The K-section is an association within the Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students (UTN) for the approx. 300 students in the Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and students in the Master's program in additive manufacturing.
The K-section writes on its Facebook page: "Erik teaches the course Materials Chemistry, the basic course in materials orientation, and thus has an important role in teaching the fundamental basics in this area to ensure that we students are well prepared for future courses."
Some of the things Erik is praised for are his great commitment, his genuine interest in the students and the way that he has managed to adapt his teaching to work incredibly well at a distance.
Erik received the diploma on 1 June - together with motivations that students had sent in during the nomination and voting period.
