A new step in the search for fossil-free aviation fuel
Henrik Ottosson and Pia Lindberg, together with their research groups at the Department of Chemistry - Ångström, have found that isoprene - which is produced by cyanobacteria (so-called blue-green algae), with the help of sunlight, water and carbon dioxide - can be part of the solution in the search for fossil-free aviation fuel.
