€150 million to sustainable battery research coordinated from the department
The EU is investing over SEK 1.5 billion in battery research via the Battery 2030+ project, which is led by Prof. Kristina Edström at the Department of Chemistry - Ångström. The project has been going on for three years and is now moving on to the next stage. The aim is to make Europe a world leader in the development and production of batteries that are environmentally and lifetime sustainable, safe and efficient.
