Bergquist Group
Clinical chemistry, endocrinology and neurochemistry
With the help of advanced analytical tools such as high-resolution separation and mass spectrometry, we can measure changes in endogenous substances early in a disease process. These substances can be used for early diagnosis, prognosis and contribute to the understanding of what initiates the onset of a disease. Our specialty is the analysis of cerebrospinal fluid and its chemical composition, but it is possible to analyse all types of tissues and body fluids using our methods.
