Research projects in Dyrager Group

Our research comprises the design and synthesis of:

  • tunable fluorophores that span the visible spectrum
  • bioimaging scaffolds with improved optical and solubility profiles in aqueous media
  • fluorescent compounds that specifically target hypoxia-associated hallmarks in cancer cells (e.g., dysregulated metabolism, enzymatic processes and overexpressed receptors)
  • emissive metal complexes for bimodal imaging strategies
