30 Years in the Service of the Nation

Employees who have demonstrated diligence and integrity in government service for 30 years are recognized annually with a special award. This year, around 40 employees at Uppsala University received this well-deserved distinction.

Among them were Lars Ericsson and Matías Urenda Moris, both affiliated with the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering. The award was presented by Vice-Chancellor Anders Hagfeldt at a formal ceremony in the University Main Building on May 9, as part of the university’s tradition of honoring long and faithful service.
