Professor Lenore Manderson will be giving the opening lecture for the Master course Contemporary Issues in Medical Anthropology, Monday Jan. 16th at 10.15am. The general topic of the first lecture of the course is Health, political ecology, and pandemics. Lenore will be presenting an aspct of this theme, focusing on the role of medical anthropology and pandemic preparedness.
You can also download open access the pdf version of the book Lenore co-edited with Burke and Wahlberg, by UCL Press. This is an important contribution by medical and political anthropologists on research in urgent times.
