Anthropology at Uppsala University celebrates 60 years anniversary with an Uppsala anthropology roundtable, and keynotes by Alberto Corsín Jiménez (Spanish National Research Council) and by Judith Scheele (École des hautes études en sciences sociales).

This roundtable focuses on Uppsala anthropology as an institutionalized discipline from the perspective of five invited panelists. The discussion will emphasize in particular Uppsala’s institutional and intellectual tradition in the place of Swedish social scientific research, but also in the context of the wider transformations affecting the discipline as a whole – where is Uppsala anthropology situated within these changes?
