Eren Zink – Visiting Scientist at the MRC/Uganda Virus Research Institute
Eren Zink, Researcher at the Dept. of Cultural Anthropology and Coordinator of Forum for Africa studies is currently spending one week at the MRC/Uganda Virus Research Institute in Entebbe, Uganda as a Visiting Scientist.
The Uganda Virus Research Institute is a leading center for research on HIV and other infectious diseases in Eastern and Central Africa with strong collaborations with a number of leading universities in Europe and North America. On Oct 12th , Eren led a research seminar for a group of 30 medical researchers where he shared and discussed some of his research findings resulting from an ongoing VR funded study of the politics and cultures of science amongst international collaborations in research and research training.
