About the volume: "Research assistants and other brokers play central roles in conflict research and yet they are hardly mentioned in most of the literature. Mats Utas has together with Maria Eriksson Baaz edited a special issue of the journal Civil Wars. Most of the contributions were first presented at a workshop held at the department in 2017. Introduction and some of the contributions are available as open access."
