Human-centered urban development

Ethnologist Karin Eriksson-Aras and anthropologists Katarina Graffman and Mats Utas have received money from UU Innovation for a feasibility study. In this feasibility study, researchers from the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology at Uppsala University will establish a long-term collaboration with Uppsala Municipality.

The purpose of the feasibility study is, based on the project's aim, to work out a project plan and an application for project funding. The aim of the project is to identify methods for increasing a municipality's understanding of the municipality's citizens, both with regard to more general issues regarding community and safety as well as more project-specific questions (new residential area).
