New issue of Kritisk Etnografi
(Image removed) A new Issue of kritisk etnografi - Swedish Journal of Anthropology (Vol. 2, No 1-2, 2019) is now published, focusing on “Comparative Municipal Ethnographies”.
The purpose is to contribute to informed analyses of the conditions and articulations of local politics from different parts of the world. Case-studies include the marketspace of party politics (Ghana), diaspora politics and local development (Mali, Tibet/India), urban development and land speculation (Uganda, Niger), decentralised policy reforms (Indonesia, Bolivia), tourism industry and local politics (Philippines), and political failure (Burkina Faso).
Several Uppsala Anthropologists are among the contributors; Sten Hagberg, Charlotta Widmark and Anna Baral.
