Professor of Cultural Anthropology and director of the Forum for Africa Studies, Sten Hagberg, is interviewed in the Swedish Research Council's magazine Curie about the future and challenges of development research.
-We have to see that the field has evolved. Research has become more international and low-income countries are getting more of their own researchers. All this is a positive change. At the same time, it is important that students at our Swedish universities continue to have access to development research in the rapidly changing world.
