Uppsala anthropologists attend SANT 2023
Last week, the Swedish Anthropology Association SANT's annual conference is being organized at the Ethnographic Museum in Stockholm, together with Stockholm University. The conference theme this year was Care and the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology at Uppsala University was represented in many panels and roundtables.
To name a few, Ana Chiritoiu was holding a panel on Vocabularies of Care, with contributions from Sverker Finnström and Aliaksandra Shrubok, among others. Chakad Ojani and Susann Baez Ullberg organized a panel on Infrastructure and Environments and Katarina Graffman was moderating a roundtable on anthropological work outside of academia.
We appreciate this regular opportunity to meet colleagues from all anthropology departments in Sweden and thank SANT, the Department of Social Anthropology at Stockholm University, and the Ethnographic Museum for a very well-planned and intriguing conference!
