Doctoral student in the field

Bim Kilje is one of our PhD students in cultural anthropology. She is currently halfway through her fieldwork in the rural municipality of Tierp in northern Uppland, known for its ironworks that produce manhole covers. For one year, Bim is living in Tierp to study which social networks become important for people in uncertain times. We look forward to following the development of Bim's thesis work!
