Starlet magazine engages the public

Kristina Öhman, post-doctoral researcher in ethnology, presented her research on the mgazine Starlet to an interested audience at the Royal Library in Stockholm (March 20) and at Bjuv Library (April 18). Both events were followed by a Q&A session where a very engaged audience asked questions and wanted to discuss their own experiences and memories of the magazine and their youth reading. Kristina will present her dissertation Ett tjejligt rum. Tidningen Starlet 1966-1996 (A Girly Room, the Starlet Magazine 1966-1996) again in Stockholm on May 25, at the Stockholm International Comics Festival (SIS).
