RIG - the cultural-historical journal

In the latest double issue of RIG - a cultural-historical journal - on the theme of materiality (issues 3-4, 2024), Uppsala ethnologists Gurbet Peker and Ingeborg Svensson contribute with one each articles "Ullens sinnlighet" (eng. "The Sensuality of Wool") and "En båt kommer lastad" (eng. "A Boat Comes Loaded"), the last illustrated with photographs by María Tomás-Rodrígues. There is also more from Uppsala ethnologists: Katarina Ek-Nilsson reports from last year's celebration of the 75th anniversary of ethnology at the department.

The editors of the issue are Marie Steinrud and Ingeborg Svensson.

You can find the journal on the website of The Royal Gustavus Adolphus Academy for Swedish Folk Culture.
