Ethical dilemmas in the field

In the latest issue of Antroperspektiv, our PhD candidate in anthropology, Huai-Tse Yang, writes about his fieldwork with Kazakhs and Uyghurs in Central Asia. In his dissertation project, he seeks to understand the long-term consequences of the camp system in northwest China, examining how its effects permeate and shape life in the border region between Central Asia and China.
