Bo Nilsson awarded research grant for covid-19 research

The Swedish Research Council has decided about the funding of projects concerning research on coronavirus and COVID-19. Bo Nilsson is awarded SEK 1.77 million to study the innate immune response in COVID-19.

In the end of the spring, the Research Council opened a call for applications with the aim to support research that can quickly contribute to stopping the spread of COVID-19 and preventing future pandemic outbreaks. In the call, 23 out of 255 applications have been granted, out of which 5 from Uppsala University.
