Christer Betsholtz awarded the Björkén prize

Christer Betsholtz receives one of Uppsala University’s largest awards, the Björkén prize. He is awarded for his outstanding research on blood vessel formation, vessel permeability and other vascular functions.

The Björkén prize was presented for the first time in 1902 and is awarded in four different categories, out of which the 2020 prize is in the category Theoretical disciplines of medical sciences.
