Elisabetta Dejana awarded by Institut de France
Elisabetta Dejana has been selected as laureate of the prestigious Lefoulon-Delalande Grand Prix.
The prize is founded by La Fondation Lefoulon-Delalande to reward researchers who have made important scientific contributions in the field of cardiovascular physiology, biology or medicine.
Elisabetta Dejana is awarded for her research on the development and malformations of the brain vasculature and she shares the prize with the French scientist Elisabeth Tournier-Lasserve. The prize is for
€ 600 000 and will be presented at a ceremony under the cupola of Institut de France in Paris on 8 June.
