IMIM programme receives EIT label

The European Institute of Technology (EIT) has assigned the master programme International Master in Innovative Medicine (IMIM) an EIT Label.

IMIM is a two-year Erasmus+ programme that is organised as a collaboration between Uppsala University, University of Groningen in the Netherlands and Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in Germany. In Uppsala the students follow some of the courses in the master programmes Molecular Medicine, run by IGP, and Medical Research, run by the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology.

‘To receive an EIT Label is a quality label that confirms that the IMIM programme is part of the EIT Health network and meets the high quality standards required by EIT on education, innovation and entrepreneurship,’ says Lena Åslund, senior lecturer at IGP.
