Karin Forsberg Nilsson receives support for sequencing project

Karin Forsberg Nilsson is awarded a grant that covers sequencing reagent costs at NGI up to 4 060 000 SEK. The grant is part of SciLifeLab’s National Sequencing Projects initiative.  

Karin Forsberg Nilsson’s project focuses on sequencing cancer stem cells and tumours from patients with the brain tumour form glioblastoma, with the aim to identify new candidate variants for tumour development and progression.

The SciLifeLab National Sequencing Projects initiative has been made possible through support from Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. This year, fourteen applications were granted funding of more than SEK 33 million in total.
