Large EU grant to Cecilia Lindskog Bergström
Cecilia Lindskog Bergström has been granted 650,000 Euro from the EU programme H2020 for creating a single-cell and spatial reference map of the human uterus.
The funded project is part of the collaborative project Human Uterus Cell Atlas (HUTER), with researchers from Spain, United Kingdom and Estonia. The work performed at IGP will build on knowledge and technologies gained in the Human Protein Atlas project, in order to generate high-resolution spatial image maps of proteins expressed in human endometrium and myometrium throughout the menstrual cycle and across lifespan.
The project will be integrated within the international Human Cell Atlas initiative (HCA), which aims at creating a molecular reference map of all human cells.
