New grants from the Swedish Research Council to IGP
Three IGP researchers have been awarded research grants from the Swedish Research Council in the field of medicine and health.
Lars Feuk and Helena Jernberg Wiklund are awarded project grantsof SEK 5.6 million and SEK 4.8 millon respectively for four years. Bengt Westermark receives a three year project grant of SEK 2.4 million.
In total, 856 applications for project grants were sent to the Research Council in this year’s call, out of which 203 were granted. In addition, grants for development of methids (3R), , starting grants for young researchers and grants for half-time positions in clinical research have also been awarded.
