New grants from the Swedish Research Council to IGP

Several IGP researchers have been awarded research grants from the Swedish Research Council in the field of medicine and health.

Seven IGP researchers have received grants in the Swedish Research Council’s calls for applications in medicine and health. The project grants are for 4 or 6 million SEK and are awarded to Anna Dimberg, Jan Dumanski, Tobias Sjöblom, Bo Nilsson and Richard Rosenquist Brandell. In addition, Katarzyna Koltowska and Maria Ulvmar have been awarded starting grants for young researchers.

In total, 906 applications for project grants were sent to the Research Council in this year’s call, out of which 218 were granted. Project grants for young researcher had 206 applications, out of which 30 were granted.
