Nine new grants from the Swedish Research Council to IGP
Nine IGP researchers have been awarded research grants from the Swedish Research Council in the field of medicine and health.
Taija Mäkinen is awarded a project grant of SEK 7.2 million for four years, Anna Dimberg, Marika Nestor and Tobias Sjöblom receive project grants of 4.8 million for four years and Lena Claesson-Welsh, Niklas Dahl, Jan Dumanski and Masood Kamali-Moghaddam are granted SEK 2.4 million for three years. Anders Mutvei is awarded a starting grant of SEK 6 million for four years.
In total, 815 applications for project grants were sent to the Research Council in this year’s call in Medicine and Health, out of which 207 were granted. Almost SEK 1 million has been awarded for the years 2020–2025.
