Panagiotis Baliakas receives prize for thesis of the year
Panagiotis Baliakas at IGP has been selected by the Swedish Society of Hematology to receive the prize Hematological thesis of the year.
Panagiotis Baliakas is a specialist in hematology and resident physician in clinical genetics. He defended his thesis Reappraising prognosis in chronic lymphocytic leukemia in May this year.
The prize will be handed over at Uppsala Castle in early October, during the meeting Education Days in Hematology.
