Research grant from the Sjöberg Foundation to IGP researchers
Olle Korsgren has together with Di Yu and Magnus Essand at IGP, and Matthias Löhr at LI, been awarded a two-year grant from the Sjöberg Foundation.
The grant is for in total SEK 4 million and will be used to develop a novel anti-cancer agent. The research project has the title “Immunotherapy of pancreatic cancer through induction of xenogeneic rejection”
In addition, Di Yu has been awarded SEK 250 000 from UU Innovation for commercialization development of the said project. With this combined support the researchers hope to start clinical trials with the new agent within a few years.
