Swedish Cancer Society positions to IGP researchers

Fredrik Swartling and Marika Nestor receive a Senior Investigator Award, Anzhelika Vorobyeva is awarded a position for research on ovarian cancer and Milena Doroszko is awarded a postdoctoral position.

The Swedish Cancer Society has decided about grants for 19 new positions for researcher in different career stages. Senior Investigator Awards are six-year grants awarded researchers that have defended their theses less than twelve years ago. The postdoctoral positions are financed for three years and are awarded researcher within three years after thesis defence.

Each year the Cancer Society select a diagnosis for which there is an extra need for research and this year ovarian cancer was selected. Anzhelika Vorobyeva’s grant can be used for three years for research in this area.
