Taija Mäkinen awarded the Göran Gustafsson prize

She is awarded "for her molecular studies of the lymphatic vasculature's growth and function". The prize consists of a research grant of SEK 5.1 million during three years, and a personal prize of SEK 250 000.

The Göran Gustafsson prizes are some of the most prestigeous prizes for young researchers. This years five awardees from Uppsala, Gothenburg and Stockholm will share almost SEK 27 million in total.
