Thirteen IGP researchers receive grants from the Swedish Cancer Society

The Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding of in total 38 million SEK to thirteen IGP researchers.

Johan Botling, Lena Claesson-Welsh, Magnus Essand, Karin Forsberg Nilsson, Bengt Glimelius, Ulf Gyllensten, Helena Jernberg Wiklund, Daniel Molin, Taija Mäkinen, Richard Rosenquist Brandell, Bo Stenerlöw och Fredrik Swartling have been granted funding of between and 1.5 and 6 million SEK.

Lena Claesson-Welsh and Bengt Glimelius are among the five researchers in Sweden that receive the largest grants, two million SEK per year for three years.

In addition, Ingrid Glimelius has been granted funding for three research months for clinically active researchers, and Daniel Molin and Richard Rosenquist Brandell have received grants for planning groups.

In this call for applications the Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding for 480 projects with in total 396 million SEK.
