Twelve IGP researchers receive grants from the Swedish Cancer Society
The Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding of approximately SEK 66 million in total to 12 IGP researchers.
Christer Betsholtz is awarded the largest grant and receives SEK 2.5 million per year for three years, and, in addition, an extra grant of SEK 4 million per year for three years. Tobias Sjöblom and Marika Nestor are also awarded extra grants which means that Tobias Sjöblom receives in total SEK 4.25 million per year for three years and Marika Nestor SEK 2,7 million per year for three years.
Other IGP researchers that are granted funding from the Swedish Cancer Society are Michael Andäng, Mats Hellström, Patrick Micke, Fredrik Pontén, Fredrik Swartling, Vladimir Tolmachev, Lene Uhrbom, Claes Wadelius and Theresa Vincent who receive grants in the range of SEK 1.5 million to 4.5 million.
In this call for applications the Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding for 189 projects with in total almost SEK 630 million.
