U-CAN noticed in Washington

Tobias Sjöblom from IGP and Pirkko Tamsen, UU Innovation, were interviewed by Kathie Olsen, former operating chief of the National Science Foundation, at a well attended event at the Swedish Embassy in Washington about biobanks and utilisation of medical research.

Sweden’s excellent registries and sample collections were stated as one of the reasons why Swedish medical research holds a front position in the field of precision medicine. The event was noticed by the influential magazine Politico.
